He has extensive experience handling construction accident, motor vehicle, medical malpractice, nursing home, trip fall and many other types of cases.
Scott has handled many notable cases over his career and has taken numerous verdicts at trial. He successfully prosecuted a landmark wrongful death case against Rye Playland on behalf of the estate of a young boy which was the result of an amusement park accident; he has represented victims of the Staten Island Ferry accident; he negotiated at $13 million dollar settlement for the victim of a construction accident that occurred during the construction of One Bryant Park in Manhattan; and, he resolved one the few successful cases against a member of the swimming pool industry in New York in a complex design defect/failure to warn case. In some instances, his successes have led to operational changes that have made various entities and industries safer for generations to come. It is Scott's creative thinking that has not only impressed lawyers and clients alike, but has lead to substantial recoveries on cases that many believed were difficult, if not impossible, to win.
In fact, Scott has succeeded on many cases that other firms had rejected or thought were too difficult to proceed with.
